PL-90 Turntable

The PL-90 was Pioneer's turntable for the ELITE line . Without question, it was the finest turntable Pioneer ever built.  Of all the turntable's specifications, perhaps the most impressive was its weight: over 38 pounds. The platter was machined from a solid plate of aluminum, measuring over 14-inches in diameter and weighing over 7 pounds alone.

Pioneer's audio engineers lavished a great deal of time on isolating the turntable platter, tonearm and even the supporting legs to minimize vibrations that might make their way to the tonearm pickup cartridge.
